Sitting In My Office

I was stunned and amazed.

It was the Fall of 2003 and I was thinking through the past two years of my life: I had left music, joined a corporation, and received multiple promotions.

And then I realized two things.

How I Got There

• I had been promoted again because of what I had learned through the company’s professional development programs.
• If I had been taught those things as a musician, I would’ve succeeded in music.

Just like you.

I’m Steve Grossman.

Former pro drummer and corporate executive.

Current author, speaker and teacher.

I was born in New York, married in Texas and currently live outside Nashville, TN.

I began playing drums at age 2 and it was always what I wanted to do.

And for over 20 years, I did.

I played live and in the studio, toured most of the United States and some of the world, and won an Academy of Country Music Award and a Grammy.

I had a great run until it ended in 2001 and I got a job.

Corporate Success and You

The realization I had in my office in 2003 began a process that led me to what I do today.

• I teach players, singers, songwriters and aspiring artists how to make it in music.
• I teach through books, blog posts, guest writing and Music Career Lessons.
