PLEASE read this and heed the call to action at the end – especially the part about firing their butts and sending them home.
And speaking of, is NOW a good time to make a serious push for congressional Term Limits?

"We're in the midst of a problem neither candidate can solve: A lack of comprehensive financial education in our school systems. What else explains the economic blunders committed by our political and financial leaders? Or why so many consumers are in debt up to their eyeballs? Or why millions of people expect a quick government fix of some kind?"

Life
I thought it only appropriate to write a political post while watching the Republican National Convention. It’s a topic I’ve thought about for some time, so I’ll jump right in.
Do you want an elected official who will NEVER change their mind? For that matter, do you want a father/mother, husband/wife, son/daughter or friend who never changes their mind?
I ask because that’s what those that seek to control the election want you to want. By continually chanting about the flip flopping of the other side’s candidates they lead you to believe that new realizations, learning, maturing and simply growing up are wrong.
Um. Excuse me?
I’d be concerned if a candidate for public office, let alone the President of the United States, DIDN’T feel differently about at least some of the important issues of our time after years of experiences and life. Shouldn’t you?
I’m much more concerned about where someone is now than where they’ve been. Even on moral issues, I only care about where a person stands now. I know where I’ve been. I know what I used to believe and the way I used to live.
Thank God I’ve had new realizations and have learned, matured and grown up.
I want nothing less for and from our President and our government.
