I believe the key to “success” is not a mystery, it’s simply having the confidence to boldly do what needs to be done to get where you know you’re supposed to be. I can help.

My experience as an independent musician and business executive launching and/or managing products and companies worth over $20 Million have given me a unique perspective on success, careers and business. I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t, and also what’s complex and what’s…well, less complex.

This has led me to two simple beliefs:

  • Musicians rarely need help coming up with ideas, dreams and goals. They need help developing, clarifying, prioritizing and/or getting rid of the some of the ones they have so they can move forward faster.
  • A musicians’ career, and all the efforts and activities that go into it, must be constantly focused on identifying and connecting to and with customers, fans, supporters, etc.
These two beliefs form the basis of all I do as a writer, speaker and coach here at whyifailed.com.
