Happy 2007!
I pray this is the year you pursue your dreams with clarity, purpose and a plan. And although working out, reading more or eating better might be a part of it, I’m talking about your heart’s dreams. The dreams that cause your soul, the core part of you, to jump when they cross your mind. Those are the dreams you need, and we need them too.
A goal is a dream with a date on it, so put dates on these dreams. Then plan your work – on paper and in detail – and work that plan.
Also, get around people who are in life where you want to be. Get around people through reading and networking, but also sit and talk with some folks on a regular basis. Get mentors.
Success is many things, but here are a few I know to be true.
– Success is a planned event.
– Success takes work – often boring, no one notices, no one seems to care, but ALWAYS no one else seems to be doing this – WORK (success is always in the step beyond everyone else).
– Success is a team sport – you cannot do it alone or without guidance (why reinvent the wheel anyway?).
Have a great 2007 living YOUR life to the full.
